    How Do You Want Me?

City comedy club owner Ian Lyons (Dylan Moran) has recently eloped with country girl Lisa (Charlotte Coleman) and moves to the small rural village she grew up in.

As Lisa settles into work at the village school, Ian eventually buys the local photographer’s business – despite never having taken a photograph before in his life.

Determined to fit in, he joins the local football team, invites a comedian friend to perform at a charity gala night for the League of Ponies and even decides to compile a photographic book of country fire stations.

But much as he tries to love the countryside, it really doesn’t love him!

Meanwhile, Lisa’s father (Frank Finlay) offers Ian £20,000 to divorce her and her psychotic brother (Peter Serafinowicz) tries to kill him.

The show was primarily a vehicle for Dylan Moran but whilst his character had many similarities to his character in Black Books, Ian Lyons had humanity and lovableness that was absent from Bernard Black.

How Do You Want Me? came from the writer of Men Behaving Badly.
