Sergeant Reno Raines (Lorenzo Lamas) is an undercover cop with the San Diego Police Department who uncovers police corruption during an assignment and agrees to testify against the dirty officers.
Before he can do so, he is framed for murder by the culprits and a warrant is issued for his arrest with a $10,000 reward offered for his capture.
Before he can be arrested, Reno flees determined to prove his innocence. Calling on his experiences as an Army Ranger and in the police force, he decides to become a bounty hunter.
He joins with his friends, bounty hunters Bobby Phillips (Branscombe Richmond) – a Native American whose real Indian name is “Bobby Six Killer – and his computer expert sister, Cheyenne (Lorenzo Lamas’ real-life wife Kathleen Kinmont).
Stories followed their efforts to bring to justice wanted criminals on the run.
Reno carries a 9mm gun that he wears upside down under his arm and rides a motorcycle. Bobby and Cheyenne drive a $250,000 mobile home.
Other regular characters included Lt. Dutch Dickson (Stephen J Cannell), the dirty cop chasing Reno, and Bobby’s uncle, Travis Six Killer (Henry Bal).
