This animated series was loosely based on a comic strip by Erik Larsen but stripped-down for television and minus the sex, violence and profanity.
Chicago cop Lieutenant Frank Darling (voiced by Dorian Harewood) discovers a super-strong half-human, half-reptile mutant named Dragon (Jim Cummings) who is suffering from amnesia.
In a quest to uncover his own identity, Dragon joins the Chicago Police Department where he spends a large proportion of his time battling evil mutants (or “freaks”) led by the mysterious evil Overlord (Tony Jay).
