This teenage drama from Television South revolved around the lives of a team of bicycle couriers at London company, Streetwise Couriers.
The company was originally owned by the Scatchi brothers and managed by Diana (Suzanna Hamilton) and Bob (Stephen McGann).
Couriers Owen, Troop (“4-7”), Billie (“1-1”), Big Bang and team battled rival courier companies and got mixed up on “the circuit” in everything from solving hit and run accidents to charity bicycle races to bomb plots.
Andy Serkis – who would later achieve fame in his role as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy – costarred as Owen.
Although the series aired on Children’s ITV the series dealt with adult issues and situations and contained mild profanity.
