Mary (Jill Day) is the daughter of a hotel proprietor at a Swiss skiing resort, and since she is a very beautiful blonde she gets on well with the male guests.
When two eligible young bachelors – tall and debonair Captain Clive Norton (Nigel Patrick) and shy and stuttering Humphrey “Humpy” Miller (David Tomlinson) – arrive from England each sets his heart on winning the pretty lass, but Mary finds both of them interesting.
When the boys catch chicken pox, Nanny Cartwright (Kathleen Harrison) – who, it turns out, took care of Humpy as a child – is called upon to nurse them. Meanwhile, both men are concerned about Mary who is having difficulty repelling the unwanted attentions of the hotel’s richest guest.
The scenery of the Swiss Alps is simply stunning though most of the movie was filmed at Pinewood Studios in England.
