Hapless Jon Pigeon (Barry Andrews) works as a janitor in a sex research institute, where the patients run about the corridors naked, nude aerobics are encouraged, and no man is safe from the crotch-grabbing tea lady (Rita Webb).
Jon lusts hopelessly after pretty office secretary Cheryl (Sally Faulkner) and – with the help of his dim Teddy Boy sidekick Keith (Billy Hamon) and using the facility’s resources – he invents a ‘sex ray’ machine (which he calls ‘Agnes’) that emits a powerful sonic aphrodisiac capable of instantly turning any man or woman into a sex maniac.
Being a British sex comedy, of course, there are a few “hilarious” misfires, unexpected orgies, sexual innuendo, double entendres, pop-eyed double-takes, bouncing breasts and unconsummated couplings before he gets to turn on the right girl.
James Booth (Auf Wiedersehen Pet) co-stars as Jon’s demented boss, Nutbrown, and British porn queen Mary Millington makes a brief cameo appearance at the start of the film.
There are also brief appearances from light entertainment stars Chic Murray and Brian Murphy, surrendering their dignity for a few days in front of a movie camera.
