Released in 1968, this game from Parker Brothers consisted of a stick (actually a wooden dowel rod) with a pair of plastic hands on each end.
Two dancers would stand on either end so that each person was being held around the tummy by a pair of hands and attempt to gyrate their hips in a coordinated way in order to rotate the 30″ plastic “Hip Flip flipper” (which also had a bell at the end) located midway along the dowel.
The first couple to complete five rotations in any three of the body positions indicated by the spinner – Hip to Hip, Face to Face, Front to Back, Back to Back, Hands above Head, Hands on Hips, Hands on Head and Hands behind Back – was the winner.
