A world after the 21st-century oil wars – with energy at a premium, a global fuel shortage and the Earth’s food and resources running out, marauding gangs are terrorising the remaining peaceful people.

Further friction occurs when Annie McEnroe, the villain’s daughter, is caught between the opposing camps.
This rather juvenile Mad Max 2 clone has lots of fast-paced mayhem, and the New Zealand locations provide an intriguingly atmospheric background to the irony and sharp wit of the screenplay.
