Nightclub owner Samson (Rockne Tarkington) does his best to keep his neighbourhood clean of crime and drugs. He is assisted in this endeavour by an ornate tribal staff that is able to subdue every adversary. He also has a pet lion and uses kung fu to fight white drug pushers and gangsters!
When vicious mobster Johnny Nappa (William Smith) tries to muscle in on Samson’s territory, Samson takes a brave stand against Nappa and his flunkies, although Samson’s girlfriend, Tina (Connie Strickland) entreats him to give up his business rather than tussle with the mob.
Nappa sends his girlfriend, Leslie (Carol Speed), to spy on Samson’s activities. She becomes a topless dancer in his club, and her lover immediately becomes jealous, taking his wrath out on the various thugs sent unsuccessfully against Samson.
This graphically brutal blaxploitation film featured a cast of mostly unknown actors. Music is by Allen Toussaint.
