Dutch band Supersister’s heady brand of prog owed much to the Canterbury Scene. Their debut LP, Present From Nancy (1970), was freaky, percussive and epic – like Soft Machine at their most playful.
By 1974, Supersister had recorded four remarkable albums, a clutch of singles, and earned a place as one of the most innovative bands to ever emerge from Holland.
