26 x 30 minute episodes
Craig Kennedy was a New York City-based criminologist, a master of scientific deduction and not one for taking a violent approach to solving crimes.
He felt that the scientific information he possessed was his best weapon against those who took the law into their own hands.
Stories followed Craig as he set out to capture criminals through the principles he had sworn to uphold. He was often assisted by his friend Walt Jameson (Lewis Wilson), a reporter for the Evening Star, and police Inspector JJ Burke (Sydney Mason).
Episodes were slow-moving and stage-bound, with very few trips outside the interior sets.
The series also aired as Undercover Agent, Two Kinds of Murder, Murder Preferred, Craig Kennedy Investigates, Ready to Die, Manhandled, and Tall, Dark, and Dead.
