    Following his success on Variety Parade, Harry Secombe was offered a short BBC series of his own.

    Debuting on Saturday 14 May 1955, the shows featured Secombe assisted by Shirley Eaton, fellow-Goon Spike Milligan, Maria Pavlou, “Arnold Fringe” (Eric Sykes), the Peter Glover Dancers and the George Mitchell Singers.
