This 90-minute Saturday morning CBS cartoon series from Filmation brought together seven groups of adventurers: Tarzan; Batman and Robin; The Freedom Force (a group of superheroes comprising Isis, Super Samurai, Sinbad, Merlin, and Hercules); Manta and Moray (a pair of underwater crimefighters); the shapeshifting African-American husband and wife team Superstretch and Microwoman; Web Woman (a former NASA scientist with power over the entire insect kingdom); and the (live-action) Jason of Star Command.
During 1980 and 1981, NBC ran repeat episodes under the title Batman and the Super 7.
