    Following the success of Kate and Ted’s Show in 1987, talented singer and impressionist Kate Robbins returned with another six-part series of Saturday night comedy, songs and big production numbers for Granada in July 1988.

    While her brother Ted’s name had been dropped from the title, he still appeared in the show in a minor role. Also appearing in the sketches were Michael Fenton-Stevens and Paul Bradley.

    All Kate’s famous impressions were present – Fergie, Cilla Black, Sarah Brightman, Edwina Currie, Julie Andrews, Tina Turner – but she now added Princess Anne (complete with a fake nose), Anneka Rice, Pattie Coldwell, Debbie Greenwood and Raisa Gorbachev.
