Debuting on Wednesday 7 January 1987, this 12-part drama for youngsters was produced by Central Television.
The series revolved around the Youth Enquiry Service (Y.E.S.) – set up by teenagers Terry (Garry Patrick), Frankie (Amanda Loy-Ellis), Zoe (Melanie Reid), and Dave (Richard De Sousa) to provide help and advice to other teenagers when they realised there was no one to listen to or give serious advice to the kids.
The four teens soon realised there was more to counselling than they had bargained for.
In addition to dispensing advice to their peers, they found themselves trying to find a headquarters for their organisation, dealing with a Space Invaders obsession, keeping clear of the sinister Ma Venables (Sandra Voe) and taking action when babysitter Angie (Jessica Radcliffe) ran away from home.
