Produced by Canada-based Nelvana Animation, Little Rosey took ABC’s top nighttime star at the time, comedienne Roseanne, from the sitcom of the same name, which started in 1988, and transformed her into an eight-year-old tyke with a devilish grin (voiced by Kathleen Laskey).
Joining her in various scenarios (each episode consisted of two 11-minute stories) were her best pal Buddy (Noam Zylberman), younger sisters Tess (Tabitha St. Germain) and Nonnie (Lisa Jai) and her baby brother Tater (Lisa Yamanaka).
The show received poor reviews and was cancelled after the 12th episode.
