Blown Away (1992)

This Canadian made-for-TV movie starred the Two Coreys™ in their first pairing as adults.

After the mysterious and spectacular accidental death of her mother, in which she apparently played a part, 17-year-old Megan (Nicole Eggert) – the daughter of wealthy entrepreneur Cy Bauer (Jean LeClerc) – leads a rather dissolute life.

When her horse goes berserk during a riding trip at her father’s plush Canadian ski resort, she is rescued by college dropout Rich Gardner (Corey Haim).

As a thank you, she invites him to a party where the two end up in bed. Rich’s girlfriend Darla (Kathleen Robertson) finds out and dumps him.

He begins an affair with Megan, but her father disapproves and forces her to leave him.

Rich’s older brother Wes (Corey Feldman) – a notorious womaniser – urges him to fight for Megan, and a web of lies and intrigue develops, during which Wes makes advances towards Darla, which almost drives the brothers apart.

Megan tells Rich that her father murdered her mother (with a bomb in her car) and now she wants to kill him.

The sex scenes are vigorous, and director Brenton Spencer shamelessly ogles the vertical and horizontal clinching with a pornographer’s enthusiasm. It’s basically Basic Instinct for teenagers.
