Jenny and The Rascals formed in 1965 in Holland. Fronted by teenager Jenny Streur the group issued just two singles in the mid-1960s on the Artone label – the memorable You Told Me a Lie (1966) and That’s a Man’s Way (1967).

At one point, Jenny was approached by Beatles manager Brian Epstein to become a member of a girl group in Britain, but she turned down his offer.

The group broke up in 1968.
