1 9 5 7 – 1 9 6 3 (UK)
This daily weekday lunchtime show with a pre-Crossroads Noele Gordon as the hostess was introduced in the Midlands at the end of 1956.
Noele was joined each day at 12:45 by organist Jerry Allen and his trio – Alan Graham (vibes), Lionel Rubin (drums) and Ken Ingerfield (bass) – and young Canadian singer, David Galbraith. Each week featured a special singing guest who would appear on each of the five 45-minute shows that week.
During the course of the series, Noele went down a mine, rode an elephant and entered a cage of lions.
