    This animated series from Hanna-Barbera was based on the characters of comedians Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, stars of vaudeville, radio, movies and television.

    Unlike their 1950s series (The Abbott and Costello Show) the situations in which Bud and Lou became involved were not drawn from their movies. Instead, the new series involved Bud and Lou in a variety of predicaments.

    Bud Abbott provided his own voice for the cartoon. Unfortunately, Lou Costello had passed away seven years before so his voice was provided by Stan Irwin.
