Constable Lincoln Vail is a law enforcement officer with the Everglades County Police Patrol in Florida.
Stories follow his case assignments as he patrols the primitive swamp wilderness areas in his high-powered airboat, acting as both police officer and game warden.
The rugged and handsome Vail has frequent dealings with the native Seminole people and works diligently to protect the wildlife, but he also wrestles alligators, braves poisonous snakes and brings bad men to justice.
