Pretty teenager Petra (Katy Wild) and fair-haired, blue-eyed boy Derek (Leonard Cracknell) solve mysterious goings-on hidden beneath the surface of a sleepy, picturesque village in the South of England.
A signpost pointing to nowhere sparks the adventures for the two kids.
The kindly village constable seems ill-equipped to deal with events so they are forced to take matters into their own hands.
A significant amount of location filming was required to achieve the desired open-air, pastoral feel of the short series.
