Written by Richard (My Wife Next Door) Waring, My Honourable Mrs starred Derek Nimmo as Henry Prendergast, a successful publisher and the husband of somewhat apprehensive Tory candidate Jane (Pauline Yates).
While Henry resolves to support his wife’s ambitions to the full, he usually proves more of a hindrance than a help.
The seven episodes dealt with the reaction of Henry, his three children – Sarah (Sylvestra Le Touzel), Tim (Anthony Howden) and William (Nicholas Drake) – and his work colleague Trevor (Aubrey Woods) to Jane’s political activities.
