This short-lived ABC sitcom – a sort of male version of Kate and Allie – featured Barry Bostwick and Carl Weintraub as Rick Armstrong and Louie Mangiotti, who had been friends since high school and were now single fathers bringing up their kids in a shared house in Philadelphia.
Skye Bassett played Rick’s daughter, Kelly. Allan (Eddie Castrodad) and Kenny (Jason Naylor) were Louie’s sons.
Storylines revolved around mundane subjects such as trying to get the kids to do the washing up, school homework, bullying and dealing with zits and first dates. Unsurprisingly, it only ran for nine episodes.
