    13 x 30 minute episodes

Talkative, cantankerous “Old Pat” (Patricia Hayes) and her long-suffering companion and scapegoat “Lanky Pat” (Pat Coombes) are a pair of down-and-out old dears who have spent years tramping from park bench to park bench in London.

With their best years behind them, the ladies of the road now need to find a roof over their heads and, as luck would have it, they stumble across an abandoned van in a yard.

The local authorities, though, are less than thrilled with the presence of the derelict duo and do their best to turf the two Pats out.

This Channel 4 comedy was written by Johnny Speight and recorded at the Ewart Television studios in south London.
