Premiering on 20 January 1984, this hour-long NBC crime show followed two college students – Jack Gage (Bruce Greenwood) and David Taylor (John Terlesky) – who were working their way through school as “legmen” for a private investigator.
Their original employer was Oscar Armismendi (Don Calfa), the proprietor of the Tri-Star Bail Bonds Agency.
Claude Akins succeeded him as their new boss, Tom Bannon.
The show did not perform well in the ratings and only lasted a couple of months. It was gone by March, although the final episodes aired in September.
