Disney Studios, long the king of animation in motion pictures and TV specials, entered the Saturday morning fray in September 1985 for the first time in its 60-plus-year history with two shows – Adventures Of The Gummi Bears on NBC, and this CBS series about an odd assortment of animals, yet to be discovered by man, on the isolated isle of Wuz.
They were hybrid creatures who were two animals in one, such as Bumblelion (part bumblebee, part lion) and Eleroo (part elephant, part kangaroo).
