This short-lived summer replacement game show from CBS alternated bi-weekly on Tuesday nights with Anyone Can Win (hosted by cartoonist Al Capp).
Three two-minute sketches were acted out by the hostess, Barbara Jo Allen (as her stage character “Vera Vague”).
Selected members of the studio audience then attempted to reenact the same sketch but on a “loaded” set (with chairs and tables that fell apart, windows that wouldn’t open etc).
The contestants who achieved a performance closest to the original won prizes.
The show – created and written by Paul Harrison and Berni Gould – was universally savaged by critics.
