This syndicated crime drama series – filmed at Desilu Studios in Culver City, California – showcased dramatisations based on the actual case files of county grand juries across the US, which were compiled by producer Mort Brisken who previously was a lawyer in Illinois.
Episodes depicted the work of Grand Jury Investigator Harry Driscoll (Lyle Bettger), an ex–FBI agent, and his ex-cop partner, John Kennedy (Harold J Stone).
The investigators were called upon to uncover evidence upon which the special body could hand down indictments.
Lyle Bettger retired from acting in 1979 and relocated to Hawaii. He died on 24 September 2003, aged 88.
