Coventry-born entertainer Reg Dixon returned to television with the same formula which proved popular in Confidentially – two comedy sketches sandwiched between three singing spots.

The setting for the series was Dixon’s 80-acre dairy farm near Fillongley in Warwickshire (though episodes were filmed at the Associated-Rediffusion Studios in Wembley, London), and Rosemary Squires – who had been the final “Miss Anonymous” on Confidentially – played Reg’s wife.

Guest performers included Henry McGee, Donald Hewlett, Sabrina, Muriel Young and The Southlanders.

Reg Dixon died on 25 June 1984 in Bournemouth, England, aged 69.
