    6 x 25 minute episodes

Debuting on Wednesday 5 May 1965, this BBC2 revue show starred June Whitfield, Gwendolyn Watts, Tony Tanner and Joe Melia.

When the show’s creator Eric Merriman was asked during the preparatory stages what form the programme would take, he replied vaguely, “It’s a sort of television show. Call it what you like”. The title was born.

Merriman also appeared on camera as an anchor man to hold the pieces together.
