Blonde-haired Athos (voiced by Jonathan Harris), redheaded Porthos (voiced by Barney Phillips), Aramis (voiced by Don Messick) and young D’Artagnan (voiced by Bruce Watson) duelled through various adventures in the service of their Queen.
A new character, Tooly (voiced by Teddy Eccles) – the young son of the Queen’s handmaid Lady Constance (voiced by Julie Bennett) – was added to serve as a link between children and the Musketeers, showing how exciting their adventures could be.
Tooly was constantly trying to prove himself worthy of becoming a Musketeer but the Musketeers won’t allow him to join them because of his age.
