In this syndicated half-hour western series, star Charles Bateman played two roles – Rick January, a gunfighter and trail bum and his identical twin brother, Ben, a Boston-educated doctor.
The twins – who had been parted as babies by an Indian raid and grew up worlds apart – reunited in the small town of Gunnison, Colorado, in the 1870s.
Rick was fast with his guns and not averse to a spot of violence when it was needed. Ben, on the other hand, was a mild-mannered gentleman of peace and hated violence.
Francis De Sales co-starred as Sheriff Maddox, with Paul Comi as Deputy Johnny Evans and Joyce Meadows as saloon keeper Stacy. Joyce Meadows played hotel owner Julie Greer.
