This cartoon featured Lassie, America’s favourite collie, as the leader of The Rescue Rangers, based in the Rocky Mountains, which consisted of the Turner family and several animals, including Toothless the mountain lion, Robbie the raccoon, and more.
Ben Turner (Hal Harvey) and his wife, Laura (Jane Webb), headed the team. Their children, Jackie (Lane Scheimer, originally, then Keith Sutherland), Susan (Erika Scheimer), and Ranger Gene Fox (Ted Knight), assisted them.
