This quick-fire late-night Anglo-American comedy series was produced by Channel 4 in cooperation with HBO.
The 13 episodes starred Cleo Rocos – the raven-haired beauty who helped to provide the ‘naughty bits’ for Kenny Everett – with a cast including American performers Elaine Hausman, Wayne Knight and Bill Sadler, alongside British comedians Daniel Peacock, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Barry Cryer (who also wrote much of the comedy).
Emma Thompson and Gail Matthius replaced Tim Brooke-Taylor and Elaine Hausman in episodes 8 to 13.
13 episodes of the series aired on cable in the US, but only seven episodes aired in the UK.
