This animated puppet series from ITV featured Mrs Fox, Mr Wolf, Mr Hedgehog and other animals from the forest.

The stories – introduced by Grandpa Fox (“It was like this…”) – were based on traditional European folk tales. The stories were narrated, and all the voices provided, by former Doctor Who Peter Davison.
