Orangutan Roxana Banana escapes from the zoo and is adopted by the Cole family.
One night, a mysterious spaceship comes down from the sky and endows Roxana with superpowers via a lightning bolt.
Roxana is subsequently pursued by two crooks who want to use her superpowers for their own nefarious means, but Roxana constantly outsmarts them.
The show also included Jungle Jukebox, a parody of popular music videos using songs with animals in the visuals, as well as parodies of then-current TV shows and commercials using animals.
