This NBC kids’ show starred Kidd Video and his band (live-action characters) who were abducted into a bizarre animated world – called The Flip Side – by the evil (animated) record producer Master Blaster.
Kidd (Bryan Scott), Ash (Steve Alterman), Whiz (Robbie Rist) and Carla (Gabriele Bennett) become animated themselves but always find their way back to the “real world” and foil the nefarious plans of Master Blaster (voiced by Peter Renaday) – who tries to capture stars and give their talent to his all-feline group, The Copy Cats (Fat Cat, She-Lion and Cool Kitty) – just in time to play a song before the show ends.
Kidd and Co are assisted by a friend called Glitter (Cathy Cavadini).
