Tess, Dan and Daisy Darret learn after their parents died in a mysterious accident that the family’s stunt driving show was a cover for a secret crime-fighting organisation called Pole Position and that Wheels (a clever Mustang) and Roadie (a sleek racer) are actually high-tech vehicles of justice.
The crew spent their time busting crooks following the directives of a secret force led by the Darrets’ Uncle Zach (Jack Angel). Joining them in all their adventures was the Darrets’ monkeylike feline Kuma (Marilyn Schreffler).
