This Harlech TV series was set in 1802 (during the early days of the Napoleonic wars) and chronicled the swashbuckling adventures of Jack Vincent (Oliver Tobias) – an ex-British naval officer turned smuggler.
A headstrong loner, Vincent eluded revenue officers along the coast of England and frequently found himself entangled in the espionage war between England and France.
The series was narrated by Welsh lad Honesty Evans (Hywel Williams-Ellis) who was reluctantly taken in by Vincent when the boy survived a shipwreck.
