ITV aired this seven-part love story from Central Television about a divorced couple whose paths cross again after seven years when she goes to work in the typing pool at his aerospace firm.
When Martin (Paul Freeman) and Diane (Judy Loe) meet for the first time since their separation, memories are awakened. Has time filled the void, or was their divorce a terrible mistake?
Would Diane return to her former husband and desert her live-in lover, Don (Trevor Byfield) – an unsuccessful motor mechanic?
And what effect would their meeting have on their obnoxious and neurotic 17-year-old son, Matthew (Damien Lyne), their hateful 13-year-old daughter, Kate (Frances Atkinson), their family and friends?
The series was written by former Derbyshire cricketer Peter Gibbs. Ian Sharpe directed on locations in the Midlands and the North.
