In 1880, widowed Annie O’Connell (Sally Brophy) ran a boarding house in Buckskin, Montana, which was the setting for unfolding dramas for odd and interesting travellers and townies alike.
Stories were seen through the eyes of Annie’s 10-year-old son, Jody (Tom Nolan), who narrated from atop a corral fence while playing his harmonica.
Originally a summer replacement series for NBC, Buckskin proved so popular that it was picked up the following year.
