Film star Charles Bronson’s first major exposure as an actor was in ABC’s Man With a Camera playing Mike Kovac – a former combat photographer during the Koran War who became a freelance photographer based in New York City.
Kovac earned a reputation as a top crime photographer and sold his photographs to newspapers, the police, insurance companies and private individuals. The type of assignments he took usually made him more of a private detective than a photographer.
Appearing regularly on the series with Bronson were Ludwig Stossel as his father, Anton (who occasionally assisted his son) and James Flavin as NYPD detective Lieutenant Donovan.
