    Considered highly innovative at the time, this irreverent BBC musical comedy series starred John Wells, John Fortune, Carl Davis and Madeline Smith and featured cartoon-drawn backdrops.

    Guest stars in the six episodes were Valentine Dyall, Rita Webb, John Laurie, Ivor Cutler, John Bird and Peter Sellers.

    The series returned in all but name as In The Looking Glass in 1978.
