This fortnightly Saturday-night show starring Mike and Bernie Winters aired between March and June 1973 and was produced by Colin Clews for ATV.
Mike and Bernie’s guests included Moira Anderson, The Dallas Boys, Des O’Connor, Sacha Distel, The Clark Brothers, Design, Saffron, Roger Whittaker, The Rockin’ Berries, Clodagh Rodgers, Jackie Trent, Springfield Revival, Leslie Crowther, The Bachelors, Jimmy Tarbuck, Gillian Knight, Anne Shelton, Peters and Lee, and vibes player Alan Randall.
Lionel Blair appeared with The Saturday Dancers in each show with backing music from Jack Parnell and his Orchestra.
Bernie Winters died on 4 May 1991, aged 60. Mike Winters died of pancreatic cancer on 24 August 2013. He was 86.
