These plucky US Forest Service Rangers patrolled the (fictitious) Sierra National Park where a typical day’s work might find them saving a group of climbers from a slippery rock wall, pacifying couples fighting over a campsite, and designing a bear-proof garbage bin.
The rangers were played by James G Richardson, Ernest Thompson, Jack Hogan, Mike Warren and Susan Foster.
Sierra debuted on NBC on Thursday 12 September 1974.
