Matt Collins (Peter England) is an ordinary 12-year-old boy from the Midlands who becomes a millionaire overnight when a cheque for £1,227,309.87 drops through his letterbox.
The cash comes from a computer game he designed while he was ill and which is now being sold all over the world.
With the help of his best friend and next-door neighbour Claire (Claire Parfitt), Matt has some fun with his new-found wealth but sensibly takes lots of advice from his solicitor and bank manager on how to spend it wisely.
Matt’s mum was played by Emmerdale‘s Madeleine Howard.
The four-part series was filmed by Central Television on location around Nottingham.
