    Street Sharks

    40 x 30 minute episodes

Evil genetic scientist Dr Luther Paradigm (voiced by John Michael Lee) is experimenting in a laboratory, adding the DNA of villainous figures like Genghis Khan and Captain Blood to a lobster and a swordfish, mutating them into giant semi-humanoid creations named Slash and Slobster.

He is discovered by colleague Dr Robert Bolton, who tries to stop Paradigm but is injected with some unknown DNA by the evil doctor and mutates into an (unseen) inhuman creature and escapes the laboratory.

While searching for their father the following day, the four teenage Bolton brothers – John, Clint, Bobby and Cooper – are injected with shark DNA by Dr Paradigm and mutate into humanoid half-man/half-sharks.

Each brother is a different kind of shark and has their own special abilities. Ripster (John) is a Great White shark with teeth that can chew through steel; Jab (Clint) is a Hammerhead shark who uses his head as a battering ram; Streex (Bobby) is a Tiger shark (who wears rollerblades!) and Big Slammu (Cooper) is a Whale shark who can create earthquakes by hitting the ground really hard with his fists (the “seismic slam”).

The four now do battle with Dr Paradigm and his aides to protect their hometown, Fission City – and the Earth – whilst on the run from the police and the authorities who are hunting them down.

The first three episodes were combined into a movie called The Gene Slamming Begins.
