James Sutorius was Mike Andros, an investigative news reporter for the New York Forum who focused much of his attention on seeking to expose corruption in the big city which had been hushed up by the powers that be.
He was helped in his fight against crooked politicians, crime syndicates, shyster cult leaders, unethical doctors, war criminals and other assorted perpetrators of evil by his sidekick and assistant, Sandi Farrell (Pamela Reed).
The show also starred Roy Poole, Alan Mixon, Ted Beniades, and Jordan Charney.
Criticised as being an unrealistic portrayal of an investigative reporter, the CBS series aired between 31 January and 9 July 1977.
The New York Forum‘s motto was “A Free Press, A Free Country.”
