This CBS sitcom featured episodes in the life of easily aggravated middle-aged advertising executive Don Robinson (Rickles) and his family.
Don worked for the Manhattan advertising firm of Kingston, Cohen and Vanderpool Inc and he lived in Great Neck, Long Island, with his pretty wife Barbara (Louise Sorel) and pre-teen daughter Janie (Erin Moran, who would soon find fame as Joanie Cunningham in Happy Days).
Tyler (Robert Hogan) and Jean (Joyce Van Patten) Benedict were Don’s neighbours, Audrey (Judith Cassmore) his secretary, Conrad Musk (Barry Gordon) his aggressive associate and Arthur Kingston (originally Edward Andrews and then M. Emmet Walsh) and Mr Vanderpool (Parley Baer) his bosses.
